Shelby offers full spectrum doula services, prenatal support, and childbirth education, with special expertise in facilitating pre-pregnancy preparation and post-pregnancy restoration. She is passionate about serving as a guide, educator, and hand-holder as you embark or continue on the path of mothering an earth seedling.
Postpartum + Matrescence
Postpartum support, comprehensive lactation consultation, and educational resources are just a few common wants and needs for new parents. No matter where you stand with knowledge, ability, and personal desires, Shelby wants to make the (sometimes difficult, often emotional) closing of pregnancy and the establishment of your new identity as a parent as empowering and sacred as it can be.
Health + Wellness, and Personal Rebirth
The bringing forth of new life is only one way we as humans engage in birth. Constantly, we are experiencing deaths, births, and rebirths as we hone in on who we are and who we desire to be in our current lives/bodies. I am humbled by the opportunity to be a facilitator in you (re)discovering how to heal yourself, and (re)defining what holistic wellness means for you + your soma.
Herbalism & Plant Medicine Consultation
Earthseed Birthwork takes mindful and reciprocal advantage of Mama Earth’s provisions of all we need to heal, survive, thrive and be well. It can be daunting to transition to or partially incorporate alternative medicine into your wellness regimen, but Shelby offers her expertise in herbalism and plant medicine as support.
